You've
got Rose
Bowl
fever.
You're
coloring
everything
burnt
orange.
Might as
well
include
your
notebook
computer.
An
Austin
company
called
LaptopLids
is
selling
decals
emblazoned
with the
University
of Texas
Longhorns
logo.
The
stickers
are
designed
to stay
on the
computer
without
leaving
a
residue
when
it's
time to
peel
them
off.
LaptopLids
founder
Nick
Bhavsar,
a UT
grad
student,
came up
with the
idea
during a
meeting
when he
was
working
at Intel
Corp.
two
years
ago. "We
all had
company-issued
laptops,
these
black
IBM
laptops,"
he says.
Prime
real
estate
for
people
to show
their
personalities,
he
thought.
Other
companies
make
laptop
decorations
but not
for
sports,
Mr.
Bhavsar
says.
LaptopLids
sells
decals
of the
Longhorns
logo and
a Texas
flag for
$13
through
www.laptoplids.com.
Aggie
fans,
have no
fear.
Mr.
Bhavsar
says a
Texas
A&M
University
decal is
on the
way.

Longhorns
With the
Rose
Bowl and
the
University
of
Texas'
shot at
a
national
championship
rapidly
approaching,
the
Longhorn
logo is
showing
up all
over
Austin.
Now a UT
business
student
is
slapping
it on
notebook
computers,
too.
Nick
Bhavsar
founded
LaptopLids
earlier
this
year to
give
notebook
users a
simple
way to
show
their
pride in
things
other
than
Dell

Hewlett-Packard
Co. and

logos.
The
company
sells
protective
covers
for
notebook
PCs for
$12.99.
For now,
the
company
sells
two
covers:
One in
burnt
orange
with a
Longhorn
logo;
the
other a
Texas
flag.
Longhorn
fans can
order
the
covers
at
LaptopLids.com.
Bhavsar
hopes to
add
other
designs
in the
near
future.
